  The mild "salsa" they served is hot watered down red water that tastes more like jar spaghetti sauce than any type of salsa. The hot (as in spicy) salsa was good.
  
  The steak for the fajitas was sliced very small and the corn tortillas we're stuck together and the one against the parchment was permanently adhered to the paper.
  
  It took forever to have our order taken and we mentioned it was my birthday and she didn't even look up let alone tell us about the desserts.
  
  I'm shocked by how bad our experience was considering that it came highly recommend by a person that grew up in the area.
  
  El Pollo Loco has better service and much better food for a better price. I wish I had gone there with my father for my birthday dinner.
